Black Branch GPS Data
This new piece of electronic mapping goodness has thrown a ton of fuel on the fire of my mountain bike geekery. I am getting way too much pleasure of riding around, building maps, and adding waypoints. Of course there is some tangible good that can come out of it: better trail review information for you, and a reduction in the likelihood that you'll get lost when using the data from Greg Rides Trails and Singletracks.com
One of the first rides I mapped was the Black Branch / Vietnam / Black Branch Connector combination. The trail had not been mapped on Singletracks yet, and since it was such a good ride I knew it had to be added!

I use a gps aswell when I ride its really good for keeping track of your pace and the trail mapping. I have a map of black branch on mine aswell. I'm going to head up to Bear creek soon and test out some new Contiental tires which will be the first time running a tubeless setup so this should be fun. I want do a night ride there sometime soon. I'm going to see what kinda of elevations changes I get on some of the climbs with the GPS. That one climb after the creek crossing can be a leg and lung burner. I haven't been there in years or the river Loop system might do a long riding of both trails. I would let you review the light system I have but the wife would kill if I loaned it right after getting it. ;)
